reflections on 5 minutes in Twitter

For all the many "meaningless" Seinfeldian conversations taking place on Twitter, there is the occasional Tweet that just blows you away.

Take these for example:

  • Hugh MacLeod posts, "   "Living Online" is fine for geeks, consultants and fame sluts. For the rest of humanity, its scope is limited."
  • Jobsworth asked, "If you could address the world for 3 minutes what would you speak about?"

We often joke that blogging is driven by ego.  But what would you say to th world if you suddenly found yourself in the spotlight?

What would you post AFTER your previous post was picked up by the NY Times?

With all the effort that bloggers invest in participating in the democratic conversation, what would YOU say if you were suddenly thrown onto a pulpit?
